The Guadalupana Association is committed to promoting devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Patron Saint of the Americas. In union with the Guadalupana groups around the world, we support our traditions and promote and practice

charity through apostolic work.

We pledge ourselves to:

  • Receive and attend the sacraments of Communion and Confession.
  • Study the Sacred Scriptures and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
  • Holy Mass and Holy Rosary on the 10th, 11th and 12th of each month.
  • Attend monthly meetings.

May is dedicated to Our Lady. On this month we pray the Holy Rosary and offer flowers to Our Lady. We also offer grief support to mourners, visit the elderly and pray the rosary in funeral homes. From Monday to Friday we pray the rosary in

the church.

On December12, the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe, we process carrying the flag and the emblem of the Virgin during the masses. We also participate in the procession organized by the Guadalupana Confederation of the Diocese of San Diego, celebrated each year the Sunday before December 12. In the procession an allegorical car is decorated and with children we perform a drama of the Virgin of Guadalupe and San Juan Diego.

Once a year we organize a festive meal for all the Guadalupana Associations from parishes of the San Diego Diocese.
