Adoracion Nocturna

Adoración Nocturna

An association of Catholics whose purpose is to adore Jesus in the Sacrament, during the night, and in communion with the Church. They meet every first Saturday of the month after the 7:00 pm Mass and end with the 6:30 am Mass on Sunday. Come to pray with them or sign up for their adoration Saturdays.

La Adoración Nocturna is an association of the faithful who, gathered in groups once a month, take turns throughout the night to worshiping Jesus, who is fully present in the Eucharist, on behalf of humanity and in the name of the Church. Every first Saturday of the month the worshipers remain during the night after the Eucharistic Sacrifice has been celebrated. They take turns before the Sacrament, praying, reading psalms, singing and offering silent prayer. They celebrate mass in the morning on Sunday.

This ministry is one of the oldest in the parish. It began in 1938 and has continued for many years. It is one of the first spiritual "engines" of the parish. They help with other events in the parish as well. The sole requirements is to commit time of the first Saturday night in prayer and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
